Marseille - Le Petit Nice - Gérald Passédat
Very famous and so expensive place, the best fine restaurant in Marseilles.
Overwatching the sea, required booking. Nice terrace when warm.
Prices from 60€ for lunch to more than 200€ for a top diner with wine.

Marseille - Une Table au Sud - Lionel Levy
A great Chef, new generation, new cuisine. Very cosy and nice fine restaurant with a nice view over the old harbour.
Prices from 40€ for lunch  to 150€ for a top meal with wine.

Marseille - L'épuisette - Vallon des Auffes
Between sea and stones, in a very nice "Village area" of Marseilles, you will taste here many seafoods, fisches and Bouillabaisse.  The owner grab is first star in the Michelin Guide for the freshness of his cuisine and products and for the perfectness of his creations.
Prices goes from 50 to 150 euro.

Marseille - Chez Aldo - Madrague de Montredon
A nice place, only food lovers and locals know "Chez Aldo".
You can enjoy here a great "Bouillabaisse" and many fishes and fresh seafoods but also great meats and delightful wood oven Pizzas. From the inside you can enjoy the beautiful view over the Mediterranean sea.
The place is hard to found but have to be found !
It's in a former and pretty  fisherman village inside the city  on the "route des Goudes".
Prices goes from 15€ for a pizza menu to 45€ for a local and tasty "Bouillabaisse" made with fresh fishes.

Marseilles - Les Arcenaulx - Cours d'Estienne d'Orves
I a very old building this place is also a bookshop. The owner is an Editor for books from many years.
You can also found here pastries and sweets for tea time.
Prices from 30 to 60 euro.

Marseille - Chez Fonfon - Vallon des Auffes
An other nice place in the Vallon des Auffes very famous in Marseilles from years.
Chez Fonfon is up on the cliff, and the viex is beautiful. You can it here many fishes and Bouillabaisse.

Marseille - Zenzen - Trendy & Fashion Asian Fast Food on Vieux-Port
New and cosy fast food, European-Asian theme. Very nice situation on the Old Harbour in the touristic heart of the city.
From 5€ to 15€.

Marseille - Le Pointu - Place aux Huiles at the corner with rue Breteuil - Very small place, no inside, only a huge terrace where you can enjoy good lunch made with fresh products for lunch
From 10€ to 30€

To avoid

In Marseilles, you have to avoid many of the cheaps restaurants by the vieux port on the left side when you are watching the sea. A real and typical  "Bouillabaisse" in a restaurant cost around 40 to 60 € for one person, it's not possible to get a good one for less or you have to make it  (fishes are expensive too and it takes a lot of time).
